The new law, the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR for short) will better protect individuals and their personal data and is a positive change towards giving individuals more control over how their data is used and how they are contacted.
In line with this, organisations are expected to comply with the new regulation and the new rules, by contacting individuals who they hold personal information on, informing them about changes to their Privacy Notices which will detail and explain how they will collect, use, share and store personal data and financial information.
The GDPR will provide individuals with information on the new rights available to them once the Data Protection laws changes on the 25th May.
The true and false statements within this quiz are designed to give insight into how much or how little your understanding is of the GDPR and whether your employees or organisation should take one of our more in-depth courses to give the level of knowledge and understanding that will ensure you keep ahead and comply with the changes that are coming into force.
